Milroy Goes – WELCOME M1LL10NS Konknni Filmacho Digdorshak

Pervis Milroy Goes, professionally known as MILROY GOES was born on 3rd September 1986 at Margao, Goa to Late Mr. Vicente Floriano Goes and Mrs. Piedade Cardozo e Goes, presently residing in Cuncolim, South Goa. Goes, speaks Konkani, English, Hindi and a bit of Portuguese.

He did his schooling in “Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim” and during that time, he was famous as an Artist. Known for doing Drawings, Sketches, Live Portraits. He later moved to Web Designing and Graphic Designing. Worked for few firms as Cyber Attendant and Web Designer. He always had the deep interest in Films. For a year he worked for Fr. Agnel Institute of Commerce Margao as a Teacher, was teacher ‘Corel Draw, Photoshop, HTML’ but soon he quit to move into film.

His first short film “Vengeance”, he made with his brother Rohan Austin Goes and his Afghani friends. He then met Khabir Moraes who then best cinematographer. Later then that, he made two more Short Films “Unexpected” and “Expect the Unexpected” which was selected at International Film Festival of India (IFFI) where he gained more fame. With Khabir Moraes, he did few low budget commercial projects, which released only on DVD’s. He wasn’t happy with the type of Film-making and funding provided for the DVD movies and soon quit that small industry.

Later, he associated with Danny Goes, of DNA Productions Vasco and with his production support he executed the project from “Media Waves Films, Delhi” to film the ad Film with Australian Cricketer Brett Lee. That was the big start from Milroy, into bigger industry. He then Directed Music Videos featured in VH1 “Let my Life go by – John D’Costa ft. Nick Ross” also Directed Hindi Song “Tum Saath Nahi” and Ad Film for “Casino Carnival” and later a Konkani feature Film “The Victim” produced by Jerryton Dias.

He also Directed a Hindi Short Film featuring MTV Fame “Scarlett Rose” called “Been Here Before” then Directed and Edited a Horror TV Feature in Konkani title “Adêus Moga”, which was super-hit.

He later got signed by Flint Media Dubai, for a Hindi Art Film (Short) ‘Peon Ek Chaprasi” as a Director. That also added more fame internationally. He got featured on Wikipedia and also got Verified on Face book.

He lately Directed a Konkani Music Video, sung by Johnny D’Cunha and Bollywood Singer Shahaa Tirupati “Tunch Mhojea Jivit” which was released on YouTube.

He is now Partnered with “Manna Mohie Films” UK Based Production with his banner title “Milroy Goes Films”. MMFilms.in has signed him as their Director and from now on, he will be Directing their movies. To begin with, “WELCOME M1LL10NS” is their First Feature film together. Produced by Manna Mohie. This film pays tribute to veteran actor Razak Khan; he completed all his shots for this film in Goa on 24 and 25 May 2016, six days before his death. Milroy Goes also got connected with International band MICHAEL LEARNS TO ROCK, and they have featured their song “Its Gonna Make Sense” also the band member Mikkel Lentz contributed background score. The movie hold huge potential, it also features Former Pond’s Femina Miss Glowing Skin 2013 Joanne Da Cunha in lead along with Sohan Borcar, Les Menezes, Manna Mohie feature in prominent roles.

The film is set in Goa and tells of the journey of a lazy cop finding a smart criminal. The victim suffers the aftermath, hoping to someday get justice. Also features famous actors in cameo Bollywood Actor Jan Bostock, Punjabi Actor Jagjit Boparai, Konkani Actor’s Selvy, Vardhan Kamat and Johnny Dcunha. This movie was Filmed in Goa and Punjab. It’s a mixed lingual film, dialogues in Hindi, Konkani, English and Punjabi.
